One of the best tools to use when recruiting top talent in the sales field is to see them perform in a high pressure, professional, and competitive selling scenario. Your business could benefit from utilizing such an experience to find valuable candidates earlier in the year than any other career fair or networking opportunity.
Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) is a nationally recognized professional sales, marketing, and management fraternity. On October 8th, 2016, The College of New Jersey’s PSE chapter will be hosting its inaugural sales competition including students from TCNJ, Bryant University, Rider University, Widener University, and William Patterson University. Participating in this event will provide your company with a more targeted recruiting effort.
The mission statement for PSE's sales competition is as follows:
The mission is to provide students with the unique opportunity to participate in a selling role-play that encourages the development of the essential skills needed to succeed in sales while gaining exposure and guidance from experienced sales professionals.
This opportunity presents many benefits, including:
- Involvement with the inaugural TCNJ’s PSE sales competition
- Hands on experience with top sales talent
- Develop relationships with TCNJ’s PSE chapter and members
- Networking experience with competitors from multiple universities
- Branding and advertising to targeted candidates on five Tri-State campuses
- Catered lunch and banquet dinner
Participating in this event would entail sending one to two recruiters to act as judges or as a buyer for the day. Not only will these judges have the valuable chance of watching students utilize their selling skills first hand, but they will also have an opportunity to network with all of the participants at a career fair which will take place in-between the role plays and the banquet at the end of the night. Overall, it would be a great recruiting opportunity for your company, while also helping PSE’s Sales Competition become a great success!
